Rock at end of Cottage Street marking the location of the landing of the first settlers of Newbury

 

Stone marking the entrance to the "First Burying ground of the Settlers" of the town of Newbury.  The burying ground is adjacent to Emery Field, a section of land that was likely some of the original Emery land in Newbury.

 

The "Emery House", built in 1745 in West Newbury, MA.  The Emery house is now a retreat center.
