Emry/Emery Family Genealogy Queries - Other

I am looking for My great great grandparents which were supposedly from Maine. My great grandfather was Charles Harvey Emory, and he was suppose to be from a town near the coast, where he took a ship to Maryland. We think he left Maine around 1863. He was born in Maine in 1846, he told that he had a sister. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.

Andrew Emery, I believe, was born in Vermont and married Lucy McClleland in Michigan. They were the parents of Martin, Charles, Hattie, Jessie and Lucy. When Lucy died in childbirth in 1864, the children were separated and he went into the Army. My grandmother was Jessie and I am looking for the other Emery descendants, or any other information about Andrew.

Searching for parents of James William Emery/Hembree, b. 10/1869, Sevier Co., TN, d. 8/1934, Harper Co., KS. James' obit listed a 1/2 brother and sister still living (poss. Calloway, b. 1863, Elizabeth, b. 1867). Also, obit listed 4 deceased/4 living children. James married 2X. Wife #1, Sarah Catherine Dunlap, b. 9/1869, Blount Co., TN, d. b/t 1903-1909, from TB or childbirth. They had 5 children that I know of and poss. 2 more that died as infants, and 1 unknown. Living: Thenie, b. 5/1891, m. Ode Hammock; Pearl, b. 3/1898, m. Jim Smith (1st) Jim Lyles (2nd); Ida, b. 2/1900, m. Lon Swatzel; Benjamin, b. 8/1903, m. Gertrude Leach (my grandparents). Deceased: Richard, no info; Bitha(Abitha or Tabitha), no info.; Martha, b. 1895, m. James Abbott. I do not have a name or anything on the 8th child. The children were separated when Sarah Catherine died and were raised by family members. Ben was raised by older sister, Thenie. Martha, I think, raised by my g-g-grandfather, but no info avail., not knowing if he is from paternal or maternal side of family. My grandfather's (Ben) generation has always claimed a name change from Hembree to Emery.When? No one knows. Any help at all would be appreciated.

I am looking for information on my paternal great-grandmother. All I have is her maiden name, "Emry". My great-grandfather's name was John Middaugh. They lived in Iowa for a while and then moved to Missouri. They had one child as far as I know, my grandfather James Franklin Middaugh. He was born in Page county Iowa. I am told that the mother left the home at some point and James was raised by an Aunt, also last name of Emry. they lived in Grundy county, MO. I would love to know my great-grandmother's given name and why she left. Can anyone help me out here?

It is my understanding that there two different lines of Emery's that came to the US in the early 1800. One went north to the area of Northeast the second moved from New York, Pennsylvania and Ohio. I understand that there are previously publish books of the family tree. I've checked with a library in Maine and we are not in that one. My deceased father saw the book as a young man but never had ana opportunity to purchase said book.

We are looking for one that would have the following listings of the 1880's plus: Edward (Grampa Zook) Emery born about 1880 died Allegan MI 1945 married to an Anna Mullen born about 1883-4 died 1973 I o believe at Kalamazoo Mi. Edward had a brother by the name of Bert Emery and had moved to Chicago Il and died there in the late 1930's had one son and I believe a daughter. (Bert was the family black sheep).

Looking for William Milton Emery born ? 1854 in ? Tennessee. Married to Mary Melissa Donaldson on January 10, 1873 in Shawneetown, Illinois, Gallatin county. Believe his father was James and his mother, Mary Adeline.

I would like to know if anyone know anything about Walter Emery who was born in Vermont around 1820 and died in Ireton, Sioux Co., Iowa around 1903.
