I have seen a few queries regarding Balaam EMORY (b 8/7/1750) and thought I'd share what I have in the event it might help others put things together and lead me beyond Newcastle. He was my 4th Great grandfather and the Family Bible records of Samuel Emory (10/10/1782) had the following information. Balaam Emory came from Newcstle on Tyne, Northumberland, England in 1766. - born August 7 1750 and my info says he was a revolutionary soldier (My information says that he fought and was killed in the Revolutionary War - although I have other information which may mean he did not - a post 1800 d, and the birth of children after the end of the war would indicate that he was not killed in battle.) Just info for anyone.....

ETTA DAVIS in Newport AR.  children-Glen, Loyd, Alonzo, Simon Roscoe, James, Oceal, Benonia, Mildred, Narcissus, Beulah/Eulah (twins), Wilma Jane, Janie Necy, Raymond Dorsey, and Tom. Loyd is my grandfather.
