I am looking for family members of Jacob Emery. Jacob was born in Germany and married Mary Reed from London, England. They had 8 children born in the US: Charles Henry b: 1836, Harry, John, Beth, Amy, Sam, James & Edith. Charles Henry married Mary Quaid and had 4 children: May, Bertie John Timothy b:1876 & Everett E. John Timothy married Anna Ingram and had 2 children: John Raymond b:1898 and Ann Bernice. John Raymond married Eva Havens and had 3 children: James Robert, John William & Coral Ann b:1933. Coral Ann married Jessie Ray Cowan and that's where I come in! -- Amanda Ann

EMERY/WHITTINGTON

I've run into a problem and another Emery researcher's question.  She was looking for a Barbara Whittington, which I didn't think I knew.  I had Jacob Emery marrying Mary Reed.  While in Illinois this weekend, I was given some old documents from my great aunt's house (Emery) which she had entered Jacob Emery's wife as Barbara Whittington!  If anyone has any information on this marriage I'd sure appreciate hearing from you.
