21 July 1845 in Franklin County Vt, married Elizabeth Owen. Samuel served in the
War of 1812 and was listed as "being from Swanton". In 1838 he is
listed on the tax books of Fairfax Vt. Dates of birth and death of Samuel from a
family bible.
